Where it all began...

I didn't set out to start a candle company.

I spent years in spaces where light and scent and the turning of seasons actually meant something — church liturgy, earth-centered celebrations, places where people gathered around something slow and intentional.

I saw how a lit candle could change the feeling of a room. How a scent could mark a moment, or make an ordinary Tuesday feel a little more worth being present for.

That's what Cedar Moon is. Not a wellness brand, not a ritual kit — just candles and home scents made by someone who genuinely believes the small sensory details of a day matter.

Everything is made in small batches in my Oregon studio. I choose ingredients carefully — no phthalates, no lead, no parabens. I keep our packaging simple and try to reduce waste wherever possible. And every scent goes through enough testing that I'm confident putting my name on it.
